Property Access

  • The cabin is located on a gated 30 acres at the water's edge on the South Fork of the New River.
  • Please note this home has two exterior cameras on the property, one that faces the driveway and the other that faces the bridge.

Policies and Rules

  • This home is not pet friendly. No pets are allowed anywhere in or on the premises at any time, including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals with appropriate certification may be permitted, and the presence of a certified service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a certified service animal is a crime under North Carolina law.
  • Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $500 extra cleaning fee. If any pets are discovered during your tenancy, including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee, and you will be evicted without refund of unused days.
  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
  • No smoking allowed inside the home. No trace of smoking should be left outside the home.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • Minimum age: 25 years.
  • Children allowed.
  • No events allowed.

Fees and Payments

  • Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $500 extra cleaning fee.

Cancellation Policy

  • CANCELLATION POLICY: STRICT: Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.

Parking and Vehicle Information

  • Free parking is available.
  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter (November-March). Travelers visiting during winter months should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • Towels and linens will be provided.
  • All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a starter set of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
  • Washer and dryer are provided.
  • High-speed internet is available.
  • Landline phone is available.
  • Patio and hot tub are available.
